The creation of this book is in honor of my Great-great grandmother Doña Daisy, or as they called her“ La Espiritista”. She can read people's past, present, and future, and create natural medicines to help those who need them and practice La Santeria. This book informs who she was, where this religion comes from, the function of vegetables, fruits, and species, the symbol of each candle color, and the spells that can help you achieve what you want. Each of these illustrations is made based on what the research is about. The cover represents her work area with her main saints Santa Barbara and Chango and the back cover is their song, a song put in every morning to remove the bad spirits.
